The Flagstaff House is a gorgeous and old restaurant in the foothills of Boulder. I went to junior high and high school in Longmont, and then I went to college in Boulder. That meant I’ve known about the Flagstaff House for most of my life, but this was the first time I’d had the pleasure of dining there. It was always too expensive and out of my reach. I managed to find some friends who also had the restaurant on their To-Do List and we headed up the hill for a wonderful dinner.
The food was amazing, of course, and the service was impressive. There were complimentary treats throughout the meal along with palate cleansers and amazing breads. They even gave everyone their own loaf of blueberry bread for our breakfasts in the morning. The Flagstaff House was everything I’d hoped it would be, and I know it won’t be the last time I visit.
