This is a public service announcement. If you get a new transponder for your car so you can take toll roads in Colorado for a cheaper cost, prepare to receive a big hunk of plastic for your windshield circa 2004.
If you want the option of either paying a toll or riding for free with passengers then you’ll need to pay $15 for this thing. Then you need to move the slider when your situation changes. What if you forget? They say the driver is responsible for an accurate transponder. But what does that mean?
Either way, I’m working on getting a refund, even if it means that I can’t use the HOV option. That big piece of plastic is a huge distraction, and it’s ugly on a windshield. Remember those ugly, white transponders? I thought they were a thing of the past, but now we have this monstrosity. Yikes!
