Nyree and I were on the south shore of Standley Lake a few weeks ago, and it was time to check out the north shore where all of the cool stuff is. We ended up renting Hydrobikes on June 18th, 2016, and I put a Sway together of our morning. It was so much fun, and we’ll be doing it again.

Just mouse over the Sway and click the box with the arrows in it to expand the Sway to full screen.

I live in Denver, Colorado, and I love it here. I love to organize events and do fun things with my friends, so you'll see a lot of that here. My first group started in 2002 when I put TrailDamage.com together, and we're still going strong. That's where the term "Monicarchy" came from. Obviously, it's a play on my name, but it also reflects that my groups are rarely democracies. We usually go where I want and when I want to go, and I'm lucky to have friends with the same interests. I also organize a movie group, a dinner group, and a group focusing on random nonsense.  Even though I'm fortunate to reign as a monicarch in many situations, we can't have what we want all the time. I'll have things to say about that, of course, and you can find my ramblings here. Thanks for stopping by!

Looks like work. 🙂 You are so tanned, but then you always did tan early and fast.
      Love you, Mom

Thanks, mom! I’m always in the sun, it seems.
