• Coffee Region Test: Rwanda and Indonesia

I found some Rwanda Inzovu, and I ordered that along with some Sumatra Lintong from Indonesia.  I’ll be working my way through Indonesian coffees for a while.  There are four main regions in Indonesia, for coffee:

I’ve always seen Sumatra coffee at Starbucks, so I’m guessing it will be pretty predictable.  There are a few from that region, too, so I’m starting with Lintong.  I’m looking forward to both of these.

    About

I live in Denver, Colorado, and I love it here. I love to organize events and do fun things with my friends, so you'll see a lot of that here. My first group started in 2002 when I put TrailDamage.com together, and we're still going strong. That's where the term "Monicarchy" came from. Obviously, it's a play on my name, but it also reflects that my groups are rarely democracies. We usually go where I want and when I want to go, and I'm lucky to have friends with the same interests. I also organize a movie group, a dinner group, and a group focusing on random nonsense.  Even though I'm fortunate to reign as a monicarch in many situations, we can't have what we want all the time. I'll have things to say about that, of course, and you can find my ramblings here. Thanks for stopping by!

I really enjoyed the Sumatra Lintong, as it was mellow but had a wonderful flavor.
